From my childhood, I was fascinated by the vibrant colors and textures of the subcontinent's rich artistic heritage. Little did I know that my journey would take me across the globe to Western Massachusetts, where the picturesque landscape would ignite a passion within me. I began painting alongside plein air artists, captivated by the ever-changing light and seasons. My artistic voice found expression in oil and pastel, with still lifes becoming my dearest companion. Inspired by the masters, I honed my skills through meticulous master copies. My work now echoes the mystique of Dutch chiaroscuro, inviting viewers to emerge from the shadows. Realism is my hallmark, and I'm humbled by the numerous awards from juried shows. My art is a fusion of Eastern roots and Western influences, a reflection of my own journey.
